IFTTT tips for Todoist users

App

Did you wonder what Taylor Martin was up to after leaving Pocketnow.com? We had the same question, ourselves. The tech blogging community is very tight and people simply getting up and walking out the door definitely turns some heads.

Todoist And Google Calendar

Turns out he was working on his own project, a YouTube channel called MOD. In the channel, he plans to upload videos about technology, mods, and just random vlogs of cool activities.

One of his first videos is a list of IFTTT recipes for Todoist. For those who don’t know these services, Todoist allows you to organize your day with a smart to-do list. Meanwhile, IFTTT (If This Then That) helps you automate actions with your service. An classic example would be to post every Instagram upload on Facebook.

Opinion: Check out Taylor’s video right below. He has been making videos for years now, so you know his content will be good. We happen to love his work!

Google Play Music All Access users will get access to Music Key automatically

Google Assistant Todoist

YouTube announced Music Key yesterday, a music video subscription service that also included full access to the Google Play Music library. This left me scratching my head, as I thought there would no longer be a need for an All Access subscription. You could just get Music Key and have both services.

It turns out Google is handling this the right way. New details have emerged, stating Google Play Music All Access subscribers will also get access to YouTube’s Music Key services.

Opinion: This means both services are essentially becoming one, offering added value to customers. Not bad, right?!

HTC Google Play Edition smartphones getting Android 5.0 Lollipop next week

Nexus devices are getting Android 5.0 Lollipop already. Hell, even the Moto X and Moto G are getting the sweet treat, but what about them Google Play Edition smartphones? We can’t speak for all available devices, but HTC has confirmed its GPE devices should be getting the update next week.

@amir_thedude Target is early next week. Thanks.
