Jungheinrich EJE 120
Jungheinrich’s EJE 120 electric walkie pallet jack is designed for loading and unloading trailers as well as transporting goods over both short and medium distances. This walkie pallet trucks is available with three different battery compartments. The shortest when combined with the EJE’s compact drive unit features a head length of only 19.4-inches which allows the truck to maneuver in extremely confined spaces.

Performance
At the heart of the Jungheinrich EJE walkie pallet jack is the company’s proprietary and innovative 3-phase AC drive motor, designed to provide powerful acceleration and quick directional changes without hesitation, reaching speeds of up to 3.7 mph under a full load.
The advanced AC impulse controller technology on these walkie pallet trucks provides stepless speed control via the drive switch, and also protects from rollback on ramps. Combined with industrial batteries up to 255 Ah ensures excellent energy management and longer operating times, no matter the performance level. Such travel parameters as acceleration, speed and motor braking are all easily adjustable with the impulse controller as well.
The highest degree of security for the operator, available at all times during normal operation is possible thanks to the long, low-mounted, intuitive control handle, which maximizes the distance between the operator and pallet truck. A standard crawl-speed button allows for maneuvering in tight areas when the handle is in the vertical position. The raise and lower controls are located on each side of the handle, allowing operators the ability to raise and lower the forks from virtually any position. Its contactor-less sensor system and IP65-rated dust and moisture protection protects against potential failure. Operators will control the EJE 120 walkie pallet jack with ease thanks to the control handle’s naturally angled ergonomic position. And even the shortest operators have optimum visibility of the fork tips thanks to the EJE 120’s low height.
Operators are well informed at any time thanks to the standard 3-color LED battery discharge indicator. An optional “CanDis” information display has an enhanced visual charge indicator, hour-meter and service code display. The optional “CanCode” keypad allows for secure pallet jack activation via PIN and includes three pre-set travel programs. By combining the CanDis with the CanCode, these electric walkie pallet jacks can quickly have the speed, acceleration and motor brake parameters adjusted without the need of a laptop.
Maintenance
The EJE walkie pallet jack doesn’t require carbon brushes or commutators thanks to the AC technology, thus eliminating costs associated with replacement parts and reducing maintenance needs. The AC motor is backed by a 2-year warranty. All components are easily accessed through the on-piece front cover while sealed controls and plugs are protected from dust and moisture with an IP54 rating. With the optional “ProTracLink” stability caster wheel system, the torsion bar constantly keeps both support wheels at the same height, reducing the chance of catching or damaging the lower support wheel on the sides of the dock plates.
