Cristiano Ronaldo had another moment to forget while defending a free-kick.

During Juventus’ Serie A clash against Parma on Wednesday night, the 36-year-old lined up in a four-man wall with Gaston Brugman standing over the ball.

As Brugman struck the ball, Ronaldo had his hands over his eyes and DUCKED while the Parma midfielder’s effort flew over him and into the back of the net for the game’s opening goal.

Despite the 25th-minute setback, Juventus managed to turn the game around thanks to goals from Alex Sandro (2) and Matthijs de Ligt.

It is not the first time Ronaldo has had a questionable moment in a free-kick wall, though.

The Portugal captain turned his back in the wall for Sergio Oliveira’s stunning free-kick against Porto which led to Juventus’ Champions League exit last month.

Porto knocked Juve out on away goals after extra-time with Oliveira’s long-range free-kick five minutes from the end proving pivotal.

Asked about the defending and Ronaldo’s role, coach Andrea Pirlo said: “Unfortunately, these things happen, but we’ll evaluate it over the next few days.”

Juventus’ hopes of winning a 10th successive Serie A title look all but over as they trail leaders Inter Milan by 11 points with six games to play.

Juve’s shortcomings domestically and in Europe have led to reports claiming Ronaldo could leave this summer – a year before his contract expires.

However, Pirlo played down suggestions of an immediate exit for his star man.

He said: “We aren’t thinking about it, he has one year left on his contract and we are happy he can continue playing for us.

“We are focused on this season and we want to conclude it best way possible.
